A Note from the Director--

I am always just a bit amazed that I have the opportunity to work with so many talented, dedicated, interesting, exciting, and yes, sometimes that makes them challenging students! I absolutely can say that I love each and every one of these kids on the stage this weekend. Some of these students I have known since they were Kindergartners. Others I have only known since August. Each one is so unique and special and have given that part of themselves to this show. All are important to our Acting Out! Louisville family and I am grateful for the privilege of working with them. One of the most exciting parts of Acting Out! has been the engagement of alums from our programs. This time we have 2 former students who have choreographed some of the dances and 2 who are doing all of the makeup for the show! Thanks to all of the parents who have supported us on this journey. As we complete my 26th show, I can say that my life has been richer because of my time with the children over the years. It is such a joy to see them work hard to earn the applause of the audience. Thanks to Katie Thomas for your partnership and for always talking me off the ledge! Thanks to the parents of these great kids who have nurtured our dreams! Thank you to my husband Mark, who has been supportive of my shows, especially since Acting Out! Louisville. From driving the rental truck to providing the team to hang the projection system, to running the projections during the show, he makes sure that we have what we need to make everything happen. Every time a show happens, we make memories to last a lifetime! I hope this show has made a lasting memory for the families involved and for our audience. You are all part of my memories and I thank you!
