Krista Stewart
Artistic Director
Mrs. Stewart is in her 14th year teaching and directing High School Theatre. She came to AHS in January of 2023 and this is her 3rd year with The Park Street Players. She has directed and designed around 50 high school productions, but Seussical has been one of the most fun to work on! She earned her degree in Theatre Education from UNC Greensboro and currently lives in Greensboro with her husband Jacob and two little boys Jack and Samuel. She would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their hard work and for making this such a great experience .

Sarah Downey
Music Director
During her twenty-one years as a Chorus Teacher in Guilford, Randolph, and Asheboro City Schools, Ms. Downey has overseen approximately seventeen musical theater productions in varying capacities ranging from Music Director to Director/Producer/Set Designer/Costumer/Orchestra Conductor. She also has served as Music Director for RSVP's recent productions of "Into the Woods" and "Mamma Mia." She has sung professionally with Bel Canto Company, Eastern Music Festival, and the Montreat Music and Worship Conference Chamber Choir as a soloist. Ms. Downey holds Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Master of Music in Music Education degrees from the UNC Greensboro School of Music. Ms. Downey lives in Greensboro with her family.

Nikki Peters
Choreography
This is Mrs. Peters' 12th year at AHS, teaching Science and acting as Co-advisor of The Park Street Players. At Asheboro, she has been a part of 22 productions. She has also been an active member of RSVP Community Theater, serving as the Artistic Director for 3 years before stepping away in 2024. Mrs. Peters has been a part of many productions with RSVP(Asheboro), Granville Little Theater(Oxford), and Henderson Rec Players(Henderson), both onstage and behind the scenes. “Thanks so much to my husband and children for your endless support!
