A note from the Student Assistant Director, Wyatt Gonzalez:
It’s incredible that I have been able to have this opportunity to help make this show amazing. It’s been a wild four years, and lord only knows what’s ahead of me. I’ve dreamed of doing this show since I saw it four years ago, and now I have. Many times, I’ve been stressed, tired, and just outright sick. However, I will always push through to be there for my cast and crew. This is an incredible honor and privilege to be an assistant director for this show. I’d like to give the biggest thanks to my fellow directors, Hastings, Chicoria, Daniel, and Vivian. Without you, I wouldn’t be in this position. Thank you to my wonderful girlfriend, Taylor, for being so caring and loving. A special thank you goes to my Mom and Dad, for always standing by me, no matter what may get in our way. Stay strong, stay resilient, never look back.
A note from the Technical Director, Daniel Brevelle:
Of every production I’ve worked on, I’d say this is the one I’m most proud of. Our tech team has worked tirelessly to put this show on, having to learn new skills they had never even tried before. Through months of rehearsals and an intensive tech week, we’ve really become good at what we do, and I’m so proud of everyone for that.
A note from the Choreographer, Vivian Saltijeral-Wiget:
Being able to choreograph Anastasia this year has made me realize that teaching is something I want to do forever. The experience of leading others to create a beautiful visual experience was an absolute dream come true. Being a dancer for my whole life, it has always been my dream to showcase my choreography on a big stage. When Hastings gave me this opportunity, I was over the moon. My amazing cast has given me so much respect and love, and I thank every single one of you for giving me grace and allowing me to play with ideas to create something amazing. BSTC is my home away from home, and I will miss it so much.
Never stop being creative, and dance like no one's watching!
With love, Vivian <3
