Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - October 04 - October 06, 2024

Brownsburg High School

 End Notes

Notes from the Director:

This has been a most uncatagorical, fantaublous, magical show to work on. It has been a privelege for me to work on it with so many fresh faces to the theatre. We have a slu of high, middle and elementary school students making their theatrical debut, as well as our three fatastic assistant principals. It's heartwarming, as a director to see new talent coming in. They have been enthusiastic, dedicated and hilarious. I can't wait to see them grow as performers and technicians. There are so many remarkable elements that we've thrown into our production that have excited us and kept us up late at night. We hope all of these elements shine through to create the most wonderfully magical theatre experience.

To my Seniors:

Gavin: You stepped up this year and took on the biggest role yet. You have come a long way from last year and you were already great then. I'm astounded by your flexibility and energy. Break a leg on stage tonight

Zi: My wonderful Baroness and Student Director. You created a safe space for the cast and showed others, in spite of being sick, you never let that prevent you from getting your part down and showing them what a star looks like.

Kamyelle: I am so glad to have you in this production after Starcatcher. You are such a warm and kindhearted person. You are extremely dedicated, a great listener and an encouraging presence to be around

Jackson: Wow!You're comedic timing just keeps getting better. You're a Groucho Marx and Chaplin rolled into one. I love the character you've developed with your spy. You make me laugh everyday. Continue to entertain. You've got the gift.

Casper: You've been put under so much pressure getting these light cues in such a short amount of time and your killing it. You've got great instincts and you recruite like crazy. Thank you for being you.

Kenzie: You lead and get this crew to be an absolutely phenomenal stage crew. The show runs smooth because you make it run smooth. You are also just an awesome person to be around.

Conor: You got thrown into the world of lighting desing thanks to Casper, and you have thrived. I'm glad you're a part of this production, yet sad this is your senior year. Enjoy this moment.

Reese: You know how grateful I am to you for stepping in, literally last minute. You are such an amazing person, not just for filling in at such a short notice, but because you've got great taste in music and musicals for that matter. Thanks for helping a director out.

Ethan: You have such great energy and enthusiasm. I am so glad you are a part of this production. You're such a teamplayer who looks for ways to improve. Keep killing it in the dances.

Maddie: You have such a sweet spirit. You are always kind, always improving, and always ready to go do your thing. You're going to continue to bring that every time and I'm glad I get to see it.
