Welcome to Frank Scott Bunnell High School’s S.T.A.G.E. production of 9 to 5: The Musical. Sit back and enjoy the music of Dolly Parton with a twist of humor and revenge. Set in the 1970s, this romantic comedy tells the story of how three coworkers concoct a plan to get even with their egotistical boss, eventually giving him the boot!
I want to thank the cast and crew for their enthusiasm and hard work in bringing forth just the second live musical we’ve seen in five years! Their dedication to theater and sense of responsibility to Bunnell S.T.A.G.E. is evident in everything they do throughout their day at Bunnell. All of the students you see performing tonight, and the crews that support them, deserve to be commended for their dedication to this program. I also want to express my appreciation to the many parents and extended family members who have worked to turn the vision of this year’s production into a reality for our students. Their dedication and commitment go far beyond this one event and continue throughout the year as they work to support our entire theater arts program.
Lastly, I want to thank our second-year Choir teacher and S.T.A.G.E. director, Miss Clare Callahan, and congratulate her upon the success of her second Bunnell High School musical! Thank you, Miss Callahan, for your long hours, creative guidance, and excellence in bringing 9 to 5 to our stage.
