A NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR:

Bringing Tuck Everlasting to the stage has been a deeply meaningful experience for our students and staff. This story asks a profound question: What does it truly mean to live forever?

The Tuck family stumbles upon immortality, yet what they discover is not the fullness of life they might have expected. Instead, they are set apart from the natural rhythm of God’s design: the beauty of beginnings and endings, the pangs of growth and change, and the simple moments that make life so precious. Through Winnie’s journey, we are reminded that a meaningful life is not measured by its length, but by the faith and courage with which it is lived.

Scripture tells us in Ecclesiastes that God has “set eternity in the hearts of men.” We were created with a longing for forever, but not the kind of “forever” the Tucks experience. Their story gives us a glimpse of what eternity apart from God might feel like: unanchored, incomplete, and devoid of true purpose.

The hope of the Gospel is something far greater. In John 11:25, Jesus says, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” Through Christ, eternal life is not simply the gift of more time. It is restored life: full of joy, purpose, and perfect fellowship with God. That promise can change how we live now. We are free to embrace each day as a gift - to love deeply, to act justly, and to trust God with the present and the future.

It has been a joy to watch these students tell “The Story of the Tucks” with such thoughtfulness and depth. Thank you for supporting their work and for sharing in this beautiful story alongside us!
