Welcome to Dublin Scioto Theatre and our production of Six: Teen Edition.
Whether you’re a history buff, a pop fan, or just here for the glitter, we are so thrilled to have you in the audience for this production. For centuries, the stories of Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr have been reduced to a rhyme about their relationship to one man. They were the "divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived" ensemble in someone else’s biography.
But tonight, we’re changing the prefix. This isn't History; it’s Her-story.
Six: Teen Edition is more than just a high-energy concert. It is an exploration of reclaiming one’s narrative. Each Queen takes the stage to share her joys, her traumas, and her strength—refusing to be defined by her ending.
This "Teen Edition" preserves the wit, the sass, and the heart of the original West End and Broadway sensations while focusing on the infectious energy of this specific cast. Tonight, we invite you to lose yourself in the music, but we also hope you leave thinking about the stories that don't get told—and the importance of standing up and telling your own.
