Laura Bueno, Director
Laura Bueno has been directing shows for IYT since 2016 and is thrilled to return with Aladdin Jr. She owns Playground Players Productions and Edudance Classrooms in Motion, and has been passing on her love of all things theater and dance to children for over 20 years. She has performed multiple roles with San Diego Musical Theater, Lyric Opera San Diego, Moonlight Stage Productions, Starlight Theater, Ion Theater, and Bodhi Tree Concerts. Laura has been a core chorister with San Diego Opera for 22 years and has a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Stephanie Nurding, Production Manager
Stephanie’s love of theater started in high school performing in plays and musicals her junior and senior year. She was also the stage manager of her high school USO show. She continued with theater classes at UCSB and performed in community theater shows in the Bay Area. In November of 2018 when her daughter Amanda was in Aladdin Jr. in Coronado, she saw the chance to be involved with theater again and helped with costumes, props and sets. She helped backstage and with more aspects of the shows produced by Playground Players Productions. She enjoys working with Laura, Julianne and all the wonderful kids in the cast.

Jackson Taitano, Show Choir Director, Choreographer
Jackson Taitano graduated from California State University Chico with a BFA in Musical Theatre and has been very fortunate to participate and act in multiple Shakespeare Festivals across California, recently making their New York debut in the original play Clay Mommy. Throughout college, Jackson taught and choreographed dance to kids and adults at all levels. Most recently, Jackson has taught STEM classes and activities for Grades K-6 at St. Peter the Apostle in Fallbrook. Jackson believes that the performing arts are for anyone who wants to try and is so excited to bring that passion wherever they go.
