This production was made possible by the contributions of the following:
Grace Baptist Academy Teachers and Administrators
Our teachers have generously given their class time and supported the cast and crew as they balanced school responsibilities with the demands of preparing for this production. Their encouragement and flexibility allowed our students to remain focused both in the classroom and on the stage. We are equally grateful to the administration, whose confidence in this program made it possible to create a manageable schedule, arrange transportation, and coordinate the many details needed to bring students from multiple campuses together for this production.
Parents of Cast and Crew
From waiting in cars to pick up after late rehearsals and buying dance shoes to purchasing ads, tickets, tee shirts, and meals, our parents have supported this production in countless ways. Their willingness to give time, energy, and encouragement behind the scenes has been an incredible blessing to our students and staff.
Support Staff
Many teachers, administrative assistants, parents, church members, and alumni of Grace Baptist Academy have contributed their talents and time to make this production possible. We are deeply grateful for their help. A special thank you to Mr. Andrew Box and EMS of Cleveland for generously providing warehouse space for building and painting our set. Without his support, this important part of the production would not have been possible.
The Colonnade Theatre
Mrs. Joy Birchfield, Mr. James D’Amico, and the entire staff of the Colonnade Theatre have been gracious hosts to Grace Academy. We are truly thankful for the opportunity to perform on such a beautiful stage—an environment that allows our students to learn, grow, and share their talents with the community.
Tempo Dance Center
Mrs. Alyicia Whaley has once again worked her magic in a Grace Academy production. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and creativity she brings to our shows. Her patience and skill in working with our performers have helped bring the story of Once Upon a Mattress to life in such a memorable way.
Costumes
The beautiful costumes you see tonight are the result of the tireless work of Mrs. Michelle Hill and Mrs. Cristy Salley. They have spent countless hours sorting through costume pieces, finding and creating new additions, and carefully altering them to fit the needs of our production. Their kindness and dedication to our students have made a tremendous difference.
Sound and Lighting
The microphones and sound equipment for this production were rented from Mr. Scott Austin at Sound Solutions. He and his team have been wonderful partners to our students and staff. In addition, Mr. Matt Houts, with the help of Ms. Ashley Atkinson have dedicated many hours to teaching our students how to operate the equipment with confidence during the performances.
The incomparable James Ogden created tonight’s lighting design. His attention to detail and patience throughout the process have been invaluable. We are deeply thankful for the expertise and generosity of these individuals who help bring our productions to life on stage.
To everyone who has contributed their time, talents, and encouragement—whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in support from afar—thank you for helping make this production possible and for supporting the arts at Grace Academy.
