Chloe Cupp
Co-Director
Mrs. Cupp is one of the co-directors of High Desert School’s theatre program and teaches 7th and 8th grade math. Her theatre journey began in middle school when she made her acting debut as the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland at the same age as many of tonight’s performers. She later worked with All About Girls Theatre Production Troop and the Huntington Beach Playhouse in roles including stage manager, assistant director, props mistress, light and sound board operator, and crew. Her favorite production was working on All Shook Up, a musical inspired by Elvis Presley.
Outside of school, Mrs. Cupp enjoys tabletop games, video games, and spending time with her husband, 2 dogs, and 6 cats. She would like to thank her husband, Mrs. Michelle Van Ornum, and all the students and families who made this production possible.
Liliana Torres
Co-Director
Ms. Torres is one of our theatre program directors. This is the first show she is directing, but she has been in multiple shows, often working tech. Her favorite tech job was spotlight; she loved to light her actors in fun colors like pinks and blues when the scene allowed it! During the school day, you can find her in her classroom teaching science, history, and theatre classes for 6th grade or leading the Dungeons and Dragons club for 5th and 6th grade! After school, she enjoys running theatre rehearsals with the other arts teachers, spending time with her friends (also playing DnD!), or with her bunny Pippin. Ms. Torres wants to thank all the students and parents who made our show possible, and you, the audience, for letting us show off all of our hard work! She hopes you enjoy the show and come back for our fall play next year!
