Saxophonist Daniel Berkey grew up in the Chicago suburbs and moved to New York in 2013. He can be seen performing with the chamber music ensemble, Project Trio, The Olive Tree Madmen, and his own solo projects around the city. He is a passionate educator as well, working with thousands of students every year across the country. Daniel is thrilled to be a part of My Ex-Husband’s Funeral.

Multiple MAC Award Winner Goldie Dver is a beloved and popular mainstay of the cabaret community. She performed her most recent MAC Award nominated solo show, What a Man! Goldie Dver Sings Anthony Newley, at The Crazy Coqs in London, following multiple sold-out performances in NYC. Goldie’s new show The Rhythm of Life - The Dorothy Fields Songbook will premiere in 2026 at the Beechman on June 2nd. This year, Goldie received a second nomination for a Best Emcee MAC Award for her bi-monthly variety series at Don’t Tell Mama, Sneak Peek. Goldie is on the Executive Board of the American Songbook Association and a member of the The Players, Dutch Treat Club, and American Popular Song Society. She is having the time of her life working with this wonderful cast!

Lisa Ellex *
as Lisa
Lisa is an actress, vocalist, columnist, and award-winning playwright and filmmaker. TV credits include selecting programming for the launch of HBO's COMEDY CHANNEL where she wrote and produced numerous junkets before moving to COMEDY CENTRAL to write guest segments for comedian Allan Havey's talk show Night After Night. Other TV production credits include, The Cosby Show, The Ellen Burstyn Show, The Dictator, CBS Movie of the Week, Top Cops, and Night Music with David Sanborn & Jools Holland. For her 2025 directorial debut short, Angela, Lisa took home the “Best Director - Short Film” award at the Jersey Shore Film Festival. The film also won the “Best Actress” award at the Long Island International Film Expo for Angela Pietropinto’s performance in the title role. As an actress, Lisa’s film and TV credits include Heart (with Brad Davis and Steve Buscemi), A Little Tenderness, The Ellen Burstyn Show (with Ellen Burstyn and Harvey Keitel), and The Cosby Show.
