    Michael Hill

    Director/Choreographer

    Mr. Hill has taught music and choir in Irving schools and served on the Irving ISD School Board while leading youth and music ministry at a local church. Michael is currently serving as the K-5 Music Specialist at Uplift North Hills Preparatory School. Michael and Lisa are proponents of arts education to reach the whole student and develop strengths and talents in each child. They are delighted to establish the Irving Youth Theatre to provide opportunities for youth with a passion for the performing arts, with the first production of Aladdin, Jr. a second production of Finding Nemo, Jr. the two-week summer camp production of Moana, Jr., the lovely Beauty and the Beast, Jr and now The Little Mermaid, Jr. They are  committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment where students thrive and optimal creative learning occurs. Mike and Lisa are very excited about the continued possibilities for the Irving Youth Theatre!

    Lisa Hill, EdD

    Producer

    Partnering with Mr. Hill to bring youth theatre to life has been a life-long dream for Dr. Hill. She is excited to produce this fifth production of Irving Youth Theatre. She is currently serving as Assistant Principal at Pierce Early Childhood School in Irving ISD, when she is not rehearsing, building websites, designing programs, making props, etc. Thank you for your support!

  • Oscar Morales head shot

    Oscar Morales

    Sound Design

    Oscar is an IISD Singley Academy graduate and is recently married. He works for the City of Garland as the Director of Technology Architecture. Oscar has served the Irving Youth Theatre as their official Sound Designer for each of the last 4 shows, and IYT is blessed to have his help in making each performer on stage sound amazing!
