 Biographies 

Dominic Angello (Harriman F. Spritzer, Principal), the son of Harmony Lugo and Joshua Angello, is a senior at Leon High School where he is a member of Capital Singers, Mane Event, Mu Alpha Theta and National Honor Society.  He has appeared in the Leon High School productions of The Music Man (Mayor George Shinn), The 39 Steps (Foley Sound) and Tartuffe (Valerie). In his spare time, he enjoys reading, biking and crafting.  Dominic would like to thank the Production Team, his parents, his friends and his drama teacher, Mrs. Marshall.   

 

Naomi Asher (Corny Collins Singer, Baltimorean/Esther), the daughter of Beth and Ephraim Asher, is a senior at Leon High School where she is active in Capital Singers, Madrigals and Thespians.  She has been seen in Firebringer (Zazzalil) and Ride the Cyclone (Constance) with Making Light Productions; The Cunning Little Vixen (Young Vixen) with FSU Opera and The Music Man (Ethel Toffelmeir) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Chip) with the Leon Choral Department.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking and reading. Naomi would like to thank her parents, friends and mentors for the support and encouragement through this amazing process. 

 

Brooke Baum (Amber Von Tussle), the daughter of Ashley Baum and Carl Baum, is a senior at Florida State University School where she is an active Student Council Representative, the Secretary of FASC District 1 and a member of the National Honor Society. A vacation and travel enthusiast, Brooke attends Young Actors Theatre and City Church. At Young Actors Theatre she appeared in the productions of Chicago: Teen Edition, (Mona/Lipschitz) Romeo and Juliet (Juliet), Pride and Prejudice (Mary Bennett) and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Silly Girl, Dance Captain). She was also seen as Roxie Hart in Chicago: Teen Musical at Making Light Productions.  Brooke would like to thank her family for their unwavering support; her friends for bringing her such joy and for giving her so much encouragement and Jessica Cavanagh and Isabel Christoni for igniting her passion for performing arts. 

 

Gabriel Brown (Light Board Operator), the son of Letitia and Jon Brown, is a 2025 graduate of Leon High School where he was active in Capital Singers (Bass Section Leader), Madrigals (Bass Section Leader) and Mane Event (3-year member). Gabriel participated in the Leon High Technical Theatre program for three years and was awarded the ROTY his sophomore year and the MVP both his junior and senior years. Gabriel was the Light Board Operator for TSC’s production of Alice by Heart, and he was on the Fly Crew for Leon High School’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and The Music Man. A member of the Tallahassee Chapter of Jack and Jill of America (2024-2025 Teen President), he participates in the Sight and Sound Media Ministry (Multimedia) at Bethel AME. He would like to thank his parents and Mrs. Peck for supporting him on his journey of finding his passion. This fall, Gabriel will be attending the University of West Florida to major in Design and Technology. 

 

Sion Brown (Motormouth Maybelle, Dynamite, Dance Captain), the daughter of Shayla Lightfoot-Brown and Shane Brown, is a 2025 graduate of Leon High School where she was active in Capital Singers (Choreographer), Melodears (Section Leader and Choreographer), Tri-M Honor Society, Thespians, Track and Leon Marching Redcoats/Leonettes Dance Team (Co-Captain and Section Leader). She has appeared in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Footloose (Ensemble), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Featured Dancer) and The Music Man (Featured Dancer). Sion is active in her church youth choir, The Bridge; her church’s youth praise dance team; Sigma Gamma Rhoer club and Apalachee Elementary School where she is a volunteer choreographer and stage manager.  She thanks her family and friends for all their support. This fall Sion will be attending Florida A & M University to pursue a B.A. in Theatre.

 

Sydney Brown (Little Inez), the daughter of Shayla Lightfoot-Brown and Shane Brown, is an eleventh grader at Leon High School where she participates in Track, Leon Chorus (Opus), Cheer and Lion Steel.  She enjoys running track, singing and working out.  Sydney sends a special thanks to everyone who has supported her.   

 

Kamara Burney (Baltimorean/Hazel), the daughter of Gerron Burney and Kendra Burney, is an eleventh grader at Leon High School where she is active in Cheerleading, the Capstone Program and Leon Chorus. Kamara is passionate about community service, is active in Zeta Youth Auxiliaries and enjoys watching true crime. She would like to thank her parents for believing in her and encouraging her to work her hardest to meet her full potential. 

 

Clairise Byrdsong (Dynamite), the daughter of Jacque Williams, is a senior at Leon High School where she is a member of Capital Singers, Symphonic Band, National English Honor Society and Melodears. She is excited to be performing in Hairspray, her first show!  In her spare time, she enjoys playing the clarinet and reading. Clairise would like to say thanks to her mom and sister for encouraging her to get out of her comfort zone from her time in the orchestra pit to time on stage.  She also wants to give thanks to God for His endless blessings and opportunities.
