Dakota Mertyris

as Ren McCormack

Dakota Mertyris is a senior at Marathon High School, and is closing his high school acting career with Footloose: The Musical. After starring in Beauty and the Beast, Newsies, and many other shows with Marathon High School and the Marathon Community Theater, Dakota will be pursuing his performing education at the University of South Florida, majoring in Musical Theater. "Thank you all for supporting the arts, and thank you to the people who have supported me through the years. I hope you enjoy the show!"
Ella Dunn

as Ariel Moore

Ella Dunn is a senior at Marathon High School and will be taking on the role of Ariel in this production. After seven years of dedicated involvement with the MHS Drama Club, this performance will mark her final appearance on stage with the group. She would like to thank her family, friends, boyfriend, directors (past and present) and the Drama Club for always believing in her and creating memories she won’t ever forget. Next year, she will be attending the University of Florida majoring in Animal Sciences on her way to becoming a veterinarian!
Cameron VanHoose

as Reverend Shaw Moore

Cameron is a junior at Marathon High School. He has appeared in many shows during his time at MHS, most recently portraying Rumplestiltskin in Dragon's Lair. Mrs. Crutcher loves watching him act and especially appreciates the fact that he projects so well, meaning he doesn't need to be miked.
Zyan Wiggins

as Rusty

Zyan Wiggins has been part of Marathon High Theatre since 6th grade, and the journey has shaped her into who she is today. Assisting with music alongside Ms. Destiny, she’s had a wild time and is grateful for her support. This show marks Zyan’s final musical on this stage, and she hopes to end it with a bang. Next year she will be attending Florida Atlantic University, majoring in theater.
