Lola Romero
as June
Lola Romero (Sophomore) is thrilled to play ‘June’ in Gypsy. Previously, you may have seen her as Gretchen in ‘Mean Girls’, Rosie in Austin High’s UIL One Act Play Things I Know To Be True, or ‘Carol’ in Feathers and Teeth. Outside of Theatre, she enjoys singing in choir, listening to music, and hanging out with her friends! She has had the best time being a part of this production and cannot wait for everyone to see it!

Lydia Alaniz
as Baby June
Lydia Alaniz is a 6th grader at Small Middle School and is having a blast playing ‘Baby June’ in Gypsy. She previously appeared as ‘The Stowaway’ in Pirates: the Musical. When she’s not on stage, Lydia enjoys roller blading, riding her bike, and being goofy with her friends.

Frances Orton
as Baby Louise
Frances Orton (6th grade) is excited to play 'Baby Louise' in Gypsy. She previously served as an Assistant Stage Manager for the Austin ISD Summer Theatre Series production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Frances is in the dual language program at Small Middle School, and enjoys theater, fashion, and cosmetology.

Jacob Baird
as Tulsa
Jacob (Senior) is super excited to be in one of his last productions as a Red Dragon Player, having played ‘Jack Kelly’ in Newsies Jr, ‘Sky’ from Mamma Mia, and ‘Aaron Samuels’ in Mean Girls, as well as a few more! He is an aspiring actor in the local Austin Theatre scene, having just been cast in a new show! He has truly enjoyed being a Red Dragon Player, and he knows he's made lifelong relationships here. He hopes you enjoy the performance, and would like to thank his mom and dad for always pushing him to be better!
