Alice in Wonderland (Duffield) - April 16 - April 18, 2026

Takoma Academy

 End Notes

As we conclude our journey through Wonderland, we are reminded that life can sometimes feel just as unpredictable and confusing as Alice’s adventure. Yet even in those moments, we can trust that God is always guiding our path with purpose, clarity, and love.

This production has been more than just a performance—it has been a journey of growth, faith, and perseverance. Our students have committed long hours to rehearsals, supported one another through challenges, and used their God-given talents to bring this story to life. Their dedication is a testament to what can be accomplished when we work together with a spirit of excellence and faith.

To our cast and crew, thank you for your commitment, courage, and willingness to shine. To our families and supporters, thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and the many sacrifices made along the way—your support does not go unnoticed.

For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” — 1 Corinthians 14:33

As the curtain closes, may you carry this reminder with you: even in life’s most uncertain moments, God is present, leading us with peace and purpose.

~ Ms. Nina

A Special Dedication

To Lauryn, my Director over the past three years—
Your growth, leadership, and unwavering dedication have meant more than words can express. The impact you’ve had on these productions and on me as an educator is truly immeasurable. You have poured your heart into every rehearsal, every challenge, and every success, and it is unmatched.

As you graduate, please know that your presence in this drama department has left a lasting mark. It will not be the same without you—but your influence, your passion, and your standard of excellence will continue to inspire those who follow.

I am so proud of the young woman you have become, and I have no doubt that God has incredible plans ahead for you. Wherever your journey leads, continue to walk in confidence, purpose, and faith.

You will always be a part of this stage.

To our seniors,

Thank you for your dedication, passion, and the joy you’ve brought to every moment on and off the stage. Your impact will be felt long after your final bow.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." — Proverbs 3:5
