MYRA MENDIBLE

Myra, Miami High Class of 1972, is founding faculty and Professor of Literary and Cultural Studies at Florida Gulf Coast University. She has published books and articles examining a range of topics: including American political culture, media and literary and film studies. Before attending graduate school at the University of Miami, she had leading roles in college and community theater productions. Myra also taught American Literature at Miami High in the mid-1980s. She is excited to honor Marty Hancock and to share the Miami High stage once again, with her dear friend, Mitch Poulos!
