No this is not from Tim Burton.
From the moment we first said his name three times, this show has been an incredible journey filled with wild energy, dark humor, and an undeniable heart. At its core, Beetlejuice is a story about embracing life—even in the face of death—and finding family in the most unexpected places.
A special recognition goes to our all of our Senior Actors and Crew. (I guess I'm a Senior Actor too, but that's a different story.) Some of them have been with us for 4 years! This group came aboard right after we did 3 wonderful (filmed at home) Covid shows. Their commitment, talent, and leadership have been an inspiration to our entire theatre family. Watching them grow as performers and as people over the years has been one of the greatest joys of being their Director. This show is not just another performance for them—it is the culmination of countless rehearsals, friendships, and unforgettable moments. We are beyond grateful for everything they have given to this program, and we will miss them immensely.
To our audience—thank you for joining us tonight. Theatre is nothing without those who come to experience it, laugh with it, and be moved by it. So sit back, get ready to shout Beetlejuice three times (but, you know, maybe not out loud), and enjoy tonight’s performance.
It's showtime!

PS - This Sunday May 4th are the Jerry Herman Awards at the Ricardo Montalban in Hollywood. This is the highest honor in Southern California High School theatre. Ella Wesson is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in our production of "Chicago".
Rani Elrayes and Ava Chappell were nominated for Best Actor and Actress for their roles in "Chicago". In this catogory, the performers get to be part of the opening number, plus are judged by industry pros all week long before the award ceremony.
Due to Performances and Dress Rehearsals for Beetlejuice happening at the exact same time, Rani and Ava unfortunately won't be able to participant.
One thing doesn't change. We are soooo proud of you! They are all winners in our book and we will celebrate all 3 of them at Uni very soon.
Big congratulations to Rani, Ava, and Ella!
