John Jeter
John Jeter fancies himself a Renaissance Dilettante who has done some cool things. He’s an author, journalist, fast typist, entrepreneur, academic, world traveler, and once appeared on Oprah!. He attended an Ivy League graduate school, where he had a great time and made many amazing friends, many of whom became famous without him. He co-founded The Handlebar, a now-legendary concert venue, and helped launch the careers of some amazing artists who also became famous without him. His beautiful wife, Kathy Laughlin, actually ran the business while he was off being creative. He now teaches at Converse University and USC Upstate. He and Kathy remain married (!) and live in Greenville, South Carolina, with two cats that refuse to learn their names.
David Berry
S. David Berry (the "s" is silent) is a composer of many genres and styles. He believes he is a polymath and those who meet him agree, though they describe him as a "know-it-all." He has taught for many years at Converse University in music theory, history, composition, technology, business, education, and is most famous for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Beatles courses. However, he is best known to grandparents in the Upstate as the leader of a very popular rock band, Anthem. They even had a small hit record back in the day. Though he has written several stage works, this is his first musical, and it's Kimilee Bryant's fault.
