    Sofia Almonte

as Laundress 1, Narrator (Erysichthon), Narrator (Orpheus & Eurydice), Narrator 3 (Baucis & Philomen)

I am sixteen years old and have been performing on stage since the third grade. I love the art of performing and watching the joy and impact it brings to people. I hope to one day appear on your television screens taking Hollywood by storm. My dream is to be in a film directed by Tim Burton. I also think it would be a lot of fun to work with Will Ferrell.

  • Polina Anfilofyev head shot

    Polina Anfilofyev

    as Laundress 3, Buyer

Polina is so excited to be part of her first show at Marshall! Prior to this year, she performed as Lord Capulet (Romeo and Juliet) at Synetic Theater and Jack (Into the Woods) at Kilmer Middle School. When she's not acting, she is wrestling on Marshall's Team or she is writing. She'd like to thank her family, especially her mom, for always letting her pursue and cultivate her passions.

  • Alex Beam head shot

    Alex Beam

    as Vertumnus

Alex s very excited to be making his Statesmen Theatre debut in Metamorphoses! You may have seen him previously as Mike Teevee (Willy Wonka Jr.) at Longfellow Middle School. Outside of theatre, Alex likes to play sports and play video games. His favorite thing about Statesmen Theatre is the community and the people in it. He'd like to give thanks to his family and especially his aunt and uncle, who are theatre professors, who gave him advice on theatre, and his dad, who gives him advice on improv and confidence on stage.

  • Eliott Boon head shot

    Eliott Boon

    as Ceyx, Morpheus

Eliott is super excited for his final fall play at Marshall (he is a senior). In the past he has been a part of the ensemble in The Laramie Project and worked on the run crew in Legally Blonde. He wrote and will direct a one-act for this year’s winter one-act festival. He would like to thank his family for their unending support and his friends for putting up with him.
