Sam Owens

as Melchior

Sam just graduated from Charleston School of the Arts and will be attending Oklahoma City University int he full. He just played Alfred in Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's Alice by Heart. Other favorite roles include Edward Bloom in Big Fish and Jack in Into the Woods. It has been a wonderful experience working with David and this amazing cast at MRT.
Meagan Berger

as Wendla

This is Meagan’s third show with MRT, and she’s thrilled to be working with such a fun and talented cast. Her favorite past roles include Carrie White from Carrie, Pickles from The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Helga from Cabaret. She’d like to give a special thanks to the directors and her cast mates for helping create such a memorable show!
Eli Waters

as Moritz

Eli is a sophomore at SCAD studying acting, and he is thrilled to be making his May River Theatre debut. Eli played the role of Chip Tolentino in Spelling Bee, Barry Glickman, The Prom, Orin, Little Shop of Horrors, and Robert, The Play that Goes Wrong. He is also a member of the SCAD Performance Ensemble. His dream is to direct a one man production of Annie.
Cait Schlieger

as Ilse/Dance Captain

Cait is thrilled to be back on the MRT stage as Ilse. Previous roles at MRT include in Veronica in Heathers, Maureen in RENT, and Frieda in Carrie. She is thankful for the opportunity to work with David again and for the time with this amazing cast! Enjoy the show!
Truman Nash

as Georg

Truman is 18 and headed to Oklahoma City University this fall. This is his first show at MRT, but he has been doing theatre for ten years. He is really greatful to be in a show with more mature themes and appreciates the support director, cast and crew. His favorite show is Mary Poppins and although he played Michael Banks as a child, Bert is his dream role.
