Jean Isaac
Director
As the founder of Young Actors’ Theatre, Jean has been working with students and theatre for over 25 years. Jean and Young Actors’ Theatre have received numerous awards including the Channel 10 Leadership Award, multiple NYA Awards, and many more. Some of her favorite directing credits include: Beauty & the Beast, Les Miserables, Ragtime, Hairspray, West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof. Seussical is one of her favorite shows and she can't wait to bring it to life onstage!

Erin Vanderhyde
Music Director
Erin Vanderhyde is happy to return to YAT to music direct another production. Since music directing Beetle Juice Jr. at YAT, Erin has been nonstop music directing around San Diego. Including but not limited to: Alice In Wonderland Jr. at Coronado Junior Arts League, Lion King Kids with Center Stage Production and most recently Title of Show at New Village Arts. She is so excited to be music directing Seussical as it is one of her favorite shows, and the first show she music directed in 2018. Erin would love to give a shout out to her husband, Chris, and her two boys August and Osborne. She loves you so much!

Alexa Cohen
Choreographer
Alexa is self-proclaimed as Seussical's #1 fan. (This production being her 3rd Seuss with YAT!) She's honored to share her love for the art through teaching and as the new YAT Artistic Director! She would like to thank the whole artistic team, YAT Board and Kristina for the opportunity. She could not have done this without her extraordinary talented and fabulous assistant, Liv. Recent Directing/Choreography credits include: Heathers, The Addams Family (24HR Musical), Seussical, Freaky Friday, B&TB (Hillsdale Middle School), Spelling Bee, Charlie Brown, Beauty & the Beast, Seussical (YAT).
